The novelist and soldier were a great match, and I appreciated the instant attraction. Throughly enjoyed the romance and plot. Pandora's misgivings were understandable, but the exchange between the two just wasn't as good as her usual. LA Banks 'Make it Last Forever' - my first of hers, I went on to read the series, but frankly - this short story was better. Amanda Ashely 'Born of the Night' - She writes good short, and I plan to read some of her full length novels soon. If they're anything like her shorts - it'll be good.

Florian Schommer schommer — I wanted to really like this book, though I think listening to it as an audiobook may have reduced its coherence, partly due to the somewhat monotone reading. The content felt a bit scrambled, often trying to sprinkle the description with pop culture analogy and other metaphors that seemed to dance around any real scientific analysis or meaningful explanation.

Once in a while I was entertained by the description, but as a whole I was left wanting. Nina Ullrich ninaullrich — Hilarious like the movie, but has an entire added storyline. What's not to love?! Park Bum emosaf04c1 — I read this book for the first time in like I loved it at the time, but didn't reread it because it was too sad for me.

Last month I just remembered this story and the strong emotional response I had to reading it. I thought I might've been overreacting to the book because I was like 8, lol. I wanted to find it and see whether my fond memory of the book was deserved or too enthusiastic.

After reading this again, as a grown-ass woman, I think I enjoyed it even more than I did the first time! Even if you've read it before, read it slower and I dare you not to cry. I was crying through the second half, equally from sadness and from the beauty.

I'm only remotely ashamed that this convoluted dramatic YA romance is one of my favorite books of all time. For all of you cerebral types, I think it's worth it to overlook the juvenile, self-indulgent writing and allow yourself to sympathize with the lonely characters in this sad, lovely plot. It is rife with whimsical metaphors and is sometimes shallow, but once you've come to peace with the style and remember who it was written for , it's a really enjoyable, romantic story.

I would recommend this story to anyone who loves a twist in their romance. I don't like tidy, cheeseball romances nor angsty, hopeless romances Twilight from Edwards point of view, could it get any better! I loved it. It was so cool to see what Edward was going through and to find out at just what point he fell in love with Bella.

The only bad thing about this book is that it ends prematurely, only the first half is written--so sad but it is still worth every second! And this is a shout out to all of my crazy sisters Aiysha Sipe kaliweed —. Giovani Lopez giovaninnn — Good intro book to Lance's life and pro bike racing. Jordan Mcmullen jordzffs — Excellent read. Gripping and a one-night project. Life changing potential. I had my 13 year old read it and he loved it too. It has one of the most unusual and interesting qualities of anything I have read.

Following this up with Camus's essays concerning Kafka and the absurd in the Myth of Sisyphus works out very well. Yun Zou zcloudzy — While it's wrong to laud a critic merely for agreeing with me, that's what I'm going to do.

Peck doesn't really assert these points so much as posit them on his way to dismember his contemporaries, but since I find them excellent literary axioms, I'll repeat them: -James Joyce's collection Dubliners--particularly the story "The Dead"--is one of the best in the prose fiction canon, but by Ulysses he is setting a pretty poor example.

Life gets prety boring when you can beat the snot out of any vilain with just one punch. Nothing about Saitama pases the eyebal test when it comes to superheroes, from his lifeles expresion to his bald head to his unimpresive physique. However, this Hike through the wild and rem Gregory Formate:.
