As a cocktail waitress at Fallsview Casino Resort, Jorja has been witness to some brow-raising moments. Talk about a generous tipper. Lady luck has smiled on her indeed. What was supposed to be a weekend of harmless gambling takes a dramatic turn when As a cocktail waitress at Fallsview Casino Resort, Jorja has been witness to some brow-raising moments.
Consuming her lips as if his life depends on it in the middle of a crowded casino is bad enough—but giving in to his mating urge and claiming her before she knows his true nature is nothing short of a disaster. And when a fellow pack member shows up and lets the wolf out of the bag, Kian is forced to admit not only who and what he is, but what he did.
He may need more than luck to pull this one off. Get A Copy. Published June 3rd by Ellora's Cave first published More Details Other Editions 1. Friend Reviews. To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up.

Sometimes a reader has a yen for a cute, short but hot story to while away the afternoon and A Werewolf at the Falls delivers just that. I like a story with growly heroes and Kian has both a lusty growl and an aggressive one for defense.
He covers all the bases because he has to. Jorja is the heroine who has to come to terms with the fact that werewolves not only exist but one has his sights set on her. And, try to figure out just what is so great about being the girlfriend of a guy that goes furry.
I liked her logical thinking and it actually made the happily ever after quite plausible. The conflict is internal and the story is character driven. Chenery certainly gives readers an eyeful when Kian has his way with Jorja, and his manly action should leave readers as satisfied as he left Jorja, over and over. Lucky lady. His focus on gambling was bit too intense for me; I would have gotten bored ages ago but the author used it as a convenient diversion so the action could stay focused on Kian and Jorja.
The author did provide enough of a hint and details to lead me to believe that another guy is going to feel the wolf bite of love soon.
The author threw in a quick character curve ball to get the action going in the direction she wanted it to. It was a bit pat, but it worked and the plot resolved soon after with an interesting display of a man making a goofy decision in times of crisis. Good thing the heroine has a working brain. A Werewolf at the Falls is a relaxing and entertaining short story that has a passionate, sweet yet erotic flavor that should appeal to paranormal romance readers looking for a uplifting happily ever after.
Oct 31, Romancing the Book rated it liked it Shelves: erotica , paranormal , romance. But the last thing Kian expected to find on his weekend gambling trip was his mate. When the nine hundred year old werewolf is served his drink by Jorja the cocktail waitress, his naughty wolf takes over. His mating instincts combined with his overindulgence in alcohol kick his need to claim her into overdrive. The searing kiss Kian places on Jorja makes her head spin and flight instincts activate.
When common sense takes hold and she pulls his skilled mouth away from hers she flees. Kudos to Ms. Chenery for creating such a wonderful dynamic between Jorja and Kian! I loved seeing the masculine male fall under the spell of sweet and slightly shy Jorja. I really believed their whirlwind romance.
Which was quite a feat considering this tale was sixty-five pages long. It takes the concept of love at first sight to a whole other level. The sex between Kian and Jorja simmered up off the page, and the problems the couple faced had me worried about my HEA. Yes Ms. Chenery did her job well! But all in all this was a great read.
Spending the weekend gambling? Working up a good buzz? Finding your mate, claiming her, and not telling her what you are partly because of your inebriated state? Check, check, and check. Working another night shift at the casino turned out to be anything but business as usual for Jorja. A twist of fate brings to her a man that will completely alter the course of her life and change the way she thinks of the world.
A fast paced and erotically thrilling read. The story kicks off right away with one of heck of a hello kiss. After an amazing night together, where they both seemed a little buzzed off of sexual energy, Kian and Jorja struggle with internal doubts while not being able to keep their hands and other parts to themselves.
They experience their first separation anxiety and the sizzling fallout after. If only, there were more detail on how they are adjusting to life after their story.
Enjoyable nonetheless and I will definitely be picking up another book in the Oh, Canada! Mar 13, SirenBookReviews rated it really liked it. A Werewolf at the Falls by Marisa Chenery captured my attention at the start. I love being able to get into a book from page one, especially a shorter story. Kian showed up and like the man and beast he was, took what was his without thinking it through.
I enjoyed seeing the hero unable to practice self control. I enjoyed watching them come together and unite both physica A Werewolf at the Falls by Marisa Chenery captured my attention at the start.
I enjoyed watching them come together and unite both physically and metaphysically. It was sweet seeing them find each other, seeing Jorja finally being able to have what she needed emotionally to shore up that hole she felt deep in her soul. Jun 21, Tasha rated it it was amazing Shelves: read-and-given-review. This story deserves ten stars but Goodreads only allows me to give it five. This is the second one of MC's books that ive read.
I enjoyed the first one but after reading the second it kinda felt like the same story all over again just with a different set of characters and a different location.
Jun 27, Wilda rated it really liked it. Cute and sweet, my only complaint is that it was too short. I would loved to have gotten a better look into Kian's world and to see Jorga introduced and accepted into the pack. But overall, I really enjoyed this steamy story. Jun 06, Emily rated it liked it Shelves: betrayal , genre-paranormal , series , shifters-changelings. A lot of fun. Sep 01, Chrannag rated it liked it. The same as the first book.
Needs more developing in the characters but for a quick reading is fun. Oct 06, Meiwilli rated it really liked it. Nice, quick read!
